I am seeking a challenging position in the field of Business and Computer Information Systems.

I have over ten years of professional experience in Business and Information Technology with the proven skills in working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. I am currently working as an ePortfolio consultant at the Center for Teaching and Learning at LaGuardia Community College in New York. I teach ePortfolio studio classes to train students how to create educational and career websites that allow them to showcase their professional achievements and present themselves professionally online. In addition, I teach students how to create digital stories, how to edit movies and create graphics for their website. Among my accomplishments at the center, I helped pioneer the implementation of educational technology in classroom instruction; I prepared technical workshops; trained faculty and students on various software and hardware packages, and taught them how to manage online courses and trained students to use online resources. I also worked as a Marketing Communication and web specialist at MTS Allstream in Toronto, Canada. I was responsible for improving Allstream’s internal and external web pages by driving customer focus strategies.

I have postgraduate certifications in Business Marketing Analysis and a Bachelor Technology Degree in Computer Information Systems. In addition, I have an Electrical Engineering degree and teaching certifications. I plan to further my education in a Master’s and Ph.D. program in Business and Computer Information Systems.
